If you're anywhere in the Phoenix metro and don't have plans yet, I've got you. The Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park is throwing their 250 Years of Independence Celebration this weekend, and it's the kind of staycation that turns into a core memory; close enough that you could be poolside in under an hour from almost anywhere in the Valley.

I lived in Arizona for over 20 years before I started living life on the road, and if there's one place that still feels like home to me, it's Litchfield Park. So when I found out what The Wigwam had planned, I had to share it, even from all the way out here in Reno, NV.

The Full Weekend Schedule

This is the energy. Splash Bash season at The Wigwam.

This isn't a one-night event. The Wigwam is going all out July 3rd through 5th:

Friday, July 3

Saturday, July 4

Sunday, July 5

Here's What They Don't Tell You Up Front

The Wigwam Bar patio at night with string lights and a fire pit in Litchfield Park, Arizona
The Wigwam Bar patio β€” one of the best seats in the house for the 8:30 PM fireworks show.

The pool parties, mermaid training, and splash bashes are exclusively for resort guests and members. And if you're hoping to watch the fireworks from the Red Allen's or Wigwam Bar patios, you'll need a dinner reservation starting at 6:00 PM, with a minimum spend of $50 per adult at Red Allen's or $25 per adult at Wigwam Bar. For a family of four, that adds up fast before you've even thought about a room.

This is exactly where booking through me changes the math.

Why My Deal Is Worth Comparing

I have access to a package starting at $442.69 for 4 people that isn't published anywhere online β€” it's exclusive to me as your travel advisor. Depending on what's included, that could end up being a better value than paying per-person dining minimums just to get a patio seat for the fireworks, especially once you factor in actually having a room to relax in between the splash bash and the show instead of driving back and forth.

I'd rather just walk you through the actual numbers than have you guess. Reach out and I'll break down exactly what's covered.

Why I Love Sending People Here

Between the splash bash and the show, there's always time to just relax.

The Wigwam isn't just a resort, it's a piece of Arizona history, and Litchfield Park holds a special place in my heart after two decades calling Arizona home. Watching fireworks paint the desert sky from a lazy river or a poolside lounge chair is one of those experiences that just feels different than a backyard show.

Is This Trip For You?

Century-old Arizona charm, still standing strong.

This is perfect if you're local to Phoenix and want a last-minute staycation, or if you're already road tripping through Arizona this week and want to build your route around it. The full weekend runs Friday through Sunday, so there's flexibility even if Saturday is the main event.
